Caleb's Creamery Interior

Caleb’s Creamery & Coffee is now open! This new ice cream and coffee shop features a 1950’s soda fountain theme and offers “Old fashioned ice cream and new fangled coffee.” Not only will you find all the old time favorites of the ‘50’s; like sundaes, ice cream sodas and banana splits, you will also be relieved to know that if you love good coffee and espresso, like we do, the long drive to town is finally over!

Owners, Jeromy and Sara Laurin (former owners of Summer Thyme’s Bakery) are excited to serve and become a bigger part of the community they live in. The Laurins have already donated to the schools and look forward to helping the community in many different ways. Offering the only wi-fi hot spot in the area, they hope Caleb’s Creamery & Coffee can provide a new service for folks in Penn Valley. They also hope to become a place where community members can meet for morning coffee and conversation.

Along with 14 flavors of ice cream, they offer a fantastic line of tea, bulk coffee, baked goods, candy from the past, nuts and trail mixes and novelty items.

The new shop, named after their 6 year old son, is located at 17329 Penn Valley Drive, next door to Larry & Lena’s Take n’ Bake Pizza in the Plaza Center. The shop is open from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on week days and 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the weekends. Give them a call and they will be happy to put your order together ahead of time and have it ready for you when you arrive.
