The Designers – Jan Baugher

Jan has owned The Designers salon for over 20years. Although in various locations with the Center, the salon has always been located in the Penn Valley Shopping Center.

Jan attributes much of her success, to the friendly, relaxed atmosphere of her salon. She has a great team of beauty consultants that work with her. The four hair stylists, including Jan, and two nail technicians know each other as friends and family. These good relations create an atmosphere in which clients feel at ease.

Recently Jan expanded her services to include retail beauty supplies for hair, nails and makeup. Among the popular brands she offers are Bed Head, Catwalk, TIGI, Biolage and M.O.P. a new line of natural products. She also has an extensive selection of OPI nail lacquer.  

Jan is considered a hair color specialist, having a great skill in matching the right color to the customer’s skin tone. Also, she recently completed a class in the art of eyelash extensions. Her goal is to create an area within her shop dedicated to providing that service. The Designers is a family salon, servicing women, men and children. It is open Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00am to 5:00 pm. Evening appointments may be scheduled. Appointments with nail technicians may be scheduled Tuesday through Friday.
